According to People, the revelation had come during Monday's episode {https://open.spotify.com/show/6kAsbP8pxwaU2kPibKTuHE} of "Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard" when Claire stated:
"I had just made this romantic epic with Leo (DiCaprio) in Mexico City, which is where they were going to shoot Titanic. And I just didn't have it in me."
It will be recalled that the 40-year-old had appeared as Juliet in Baz Luhrmann's 1996 film "Romeo + Juliet," along with Leonard, who starred as Romeo.

While Claire claimed that Leonardo was unsure about acting as Jack in "Titanic," she knew she couldn't act as his on-screen beau in the film as she wasn't ready for that "level of fame."
The interview came a week after Brad Pitt disclosed that Leonard, who is his close friend, called him "lover."
According to another People's story, although Brad found the name confusing, he had learned to "roll with it." Brad and Leonardo showed their chemistry when they appeared in the 2019 drama/comedy-drama film "Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood."
The film had turned out so good that it earned Brad an award at the recently concluded SAG Awards ceremony. In celebration of the win, the duo had turned to the dance floor to show their moves.
The extra kick in their moves was attributed to the fact that Leonardo had happened to be in the right place at the right time, per a third People report.
The site divulged that while the 45-year-old had gone on vacation with his friends and girlfriend, Camila Morrone, near St. Barts in December 2019, they had heard an emergency call.
The person on the call stated that there was an ongoing search for a man who had drunkenly fallen overboard from a Club Med yacht.
The Academy Award winner and his friends joined in the search, which resulted in them not only spotting the man but also rescuing him.
Meanwhile, TV Over Mind mentioned that Claire made her Broadway debut in 2007 when she played Eliza Doolittle in the revival of "Pygmalion." Before then, the actress had met her husband actor Hugh Dancy, while they were on set for the movie "Evening."
The couple began dating, and by 2009, they announced their engagement and got married a few months later. In December 2012, Claire and Hugh welcomed their son and only child together, Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy.
